Supports Available in Westwind School Division

Support for students is provided from several sources primarily identified through our Educational Psychologists, High School Academic Counsellors, and Family School Liaison Counsellors. Additional support is provided by our learning support teachers in all schools, First Nation Support Workers in Cardston, Spring Glen Jr high and elementary, and contracted support from Speech Language Pathologists (SLP’s), Physical Therapists, Occupational Therapists, and Behaviour Specialists as contracted through a variety of agencies included but not limited to, Alberta Health Services, Alberta Mental Health, Key Connections Consulting, and the South West Regional Collaborative Services.

Career and Post Secondary Education Exploration and Supports
